NEW HINKLEY CEILING FAN HAD TO HAVE NEW LIGHT KIT

The ceiling fan works fine now but when it was first installed the light had a steady blinking. We went back to the store where we bought it and they contacted Hinkley. They said it needed a new light kit and sent it to us. We have a high cathedral ceiling and we are not comfortable getting on a tall ladder so we had the electrician that installed the ceiling fan come back to exchange out the light kit. He gave us a discount but it cost us an additional $60 to have him replace the light kit. We were not happy about this. We expect to have a product work when we spend hundreds of dollars for a new ceiling fan. However Hinkley was very helpful and did send the light kit immediately. The fan now works very well and we love it!
