Description / Kichler CoolTouch Remote Control System in White
Whether the dog ate your remote or your fan just didn’t come with one, you’ll love the convenience the CoolTouch remote control system from Kichler brings into your life. Multifunctional and easy to operate, this handy control lets you turn ceiling fans off and on, adjust fan speed and even reverse the rotation direction of the blades. Two light buttons allow you to operate upward-facing and downward-facing lights separately. The CoolTouch system comes with a handy wall plate that can replace an existing wall switch or be mounted on any flat surface to keep your remote from getting lost (or nabbed by the dog) when not in use. Please refer to your fan’s documentation or contact us prior to ordering to ensure compatibility.

Correct product shipped fast
Review by

After my German Shepherd puppy chewed up my fan/light remote I had to hunt around for a replacement. I ended up calling the company rep to be sure this was the correct remote, and she also gave me the info about setting the code to sync with my unit. Although the remote is a bit pricey I've come to depend on it, and was really happy to have the replacement arrive so quickly within a few days of ordering.

This is my second failed remote control. The device reacts to new batteries but will not control the ceiling fan; the fan works perfectly from the wall switch.

It works

While it has the same model number as the original remote, it's slightly different. One button battery did not fit well. The screw on one side of the battery cover was not on the original remote. Because one of the 2 batteries didn't fit well, kept popping out, the screw helped hold the cover on and the battery in place. I thought maybe it should've had 2 screws for this remote – one on each side of the battery cover. The remote itself works just fine.
